Want to help your pup beat the heat this summer? Here are some fun treats you can try to help keep your furry friend cool!
Fill a small bucket with water and place small toys and treats inside then freeze. Once frozen, turn it upside down and remove the bucket. As your dog licks at the ice and it begins to melt, the treats and toys will be slowly revealed for them to enjoy! You can also do this on a smaller scale using an ice cube tray – just place a small, yummy treat in each cube compartment along with water then freeze.
Frozen bananas are also a fun, cooling treat to give on hot days. Simply chop up the banana and freeze the pieces then give as treats. Or you can fill a Kong toy with the banana then place in the freezer to give your dog a bit of a challenge!
